CASIO W96H-1AV Casual Sports Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I got this watch because I wanted a stopwatch feature for running and I have had good luck with earlier Casio watches. This one works great. The buttons are easy to use and the characters, including the calendar numbers, are easy to read even with my middle-aged eyes. But the band they put on it is a disgrace. It is a rubberized type with 11 holes and a buckle. It fits my wrist on the 3rd hole, leaving 8 holes on a loose flap over 3" long. It looks terrible and is hard to buckle and unbuckle. I tried to get a Twist-O-Flex replacement band or something else but the watch shop where I bought it says the Casio attachment is unique and only another band of the same type will fit onto the watch. I am completely happy with the watch but I am ticked off about the band. If you are going to sell a watch with a lousy band, at least use a standard attachment design so buyers can get better one. The vendor told me the only solution is to buy another watch for everyday wear and just use this one for running. That's not acceptable to me.
