The dial face is quite small, about 5/8" and, due to the art, the smallnumbers on the dial are not exactly easy to read. The band is made of nylon and the Visorak faces appear to be plastic or rubber. The band's 'lock' is Velcro. The manual shows how the watch could be accessorized with additional Lego elements.
The battery is included but the watch is not working while in the box because the knob used to adjust the time is held in the 'off' position by a small, barely visible piece of transparent plastic. There is no mention of it in the pamphlet that serves as manual but, once the plastic is removed and the knob is pushed down, the watch begins to operate.
I hope the kids are going to like these, because they like LEGOs (I have the Hordika on order for my other boy) but, for a watch, it's not an impressive unit, not even for the relatively low price it sells for.
