(More customer reviews)I'd recommend this band to someone who did not want to spend any more, but if I had to do it again I would look for a somewhat higher quality band that provided more "cushioning". While there is very little fault to find with this product it still failed to meet my expectations in that it is not as nice as the old band I am replacing. That band came with a medium quality ($100) watch, so I expected from the favorable reviews for this product that it would meet the same standards. On the positive side the leather on this product is unblemished, well finished and pliable. The buckle is solid and nicely plated. My disappointment is with the thickness of the leather. That "original equipment" band was more thickly padded, being made from two layers of soft leather. This product is made with only one layer and consequently does not provide the same high levels of comfort and appearance as my original band did. On the other hand, being made of one layer of thicker leather perhaps this one will wear longer.
