(More customer reviews)I found this glorified timekeeper at Target for $35 bucks plus tax.I wanted a time piece that was a water-resistant chronograph and not overly burdensome to wear while exercising.This model fulfills those particular requirements outstandingly, however I am less than satisfied with its performance.

I'm not quite sure where Timex engineers envisioned the consumer would be wearing this watch, but the alarms are extremely subdued tones to the point where said alarms are completely worthless.I am not elderly, nor do I require a hearing aid, but I couldn't hear any of alarms in a quiet room over my own breath or the purrs of my cat.

Also, the indiglo feature leaves a lot to be desired.It's not as bright as it could have been.I base this observation on my experience with other Timex time pieces touting the indiglo feature.The indiglo is a rather important feature, particularly since the Timex engineers apparently meant it as a visual cue that an alarm was sounding off.But on this model, when the timer and/or alarms execute, the watch face numerals do flash, but you can neither see nor hear it.Perhaps if you were in a soundproof, pitch black coal mine, you might notice the flashing indiglo and/or hear the pathethic alarm, but don't attempt it elsewhere.

Notwithstanding the above-referenced limitations, this model is otherwise OK.Just don't expect a whole lot from it in terms of using the alarms and/or reminder features.
