(More customer reviews)Albeit a little undignified.
The Timex Kids' analog watches are brilliant.I would suggest this for any 3-9 year old, and for about $15, there is not a better watch on the planet.Easy to read, sized for kids, marked with cues to help younglings learn to tell time with a *real* clock rather than a digital, durable, and long battery life. The elastic strap isn't hard to adjust, and is soft enough for any kid.
I've never seen the movement fail, but after several years of abuse, I have seen one of the lugs for the strap break (this involved a kid jumping on it on concrete, I think).Even after amateur battery replacements, they haven't shipped any moisture.
The Indiglo (the dial glows a pale blue when you press the stem) is an excellent nightlight for a watch, and it will get a lot of use with most kids.
My family generally doesn't get toy tools. This is not a toy watch, but a real watch made for the conditions and extremes that the younglings will expose it to.
