(More customer reviews)The face is a little bit smaller than expected.However, not a bad size for my husband who's wrist is a bit smaller.Strap seems okay now, but not sure how it will hold up. The alarm on it isn't very loud though. The light on it is nice.

Timex Kids' T7B081 Flames Stretch Band Watch Review

The Timex Kids' analog watches are brilliant.I would suggest this for any 3-9 year old, and for about $15, there is not a better watch on the planet.Easy to read, sized for kids, marked with cues to help younglings learn to tell time with a *real* clock rather than a digital, durable, and long battery life.The elastic strap isn't hard to adjust, and is soft enough for any kid.

I've never seen the movement fail, but after several years of abuse, I have seen one of the lugs for the strap break (this involved a kid jumping on it on concrete, I think).Even after amateur battery replacements, they haven't shipped any moisture.

The Indiglo (the dial glows a pale blue when you press the stem) is an excellent nightlight for a watch, and it will get a lot of use with most kids.

My family generally doesn't get toy tools.This is not a toy watch, but a real watch made for the conditions and extremes that the younglings will expose it to.

So I ordered a replacement from Amazon. Several months later, the watch freezes up. I checked it and found three out of four buttons don't bounce back after pressing them.
My boy does like the design of this watch but two watches were broken in ten months. So don't expect it can last very long if you decide to buy this watch.

(More customer reviews)It is hard to distinguish a significant difference between this watch and the Casio - MQ247B2 which is fifty cents cheaper, but apparently this one might have a better crystal and band. In any case I replace the band with woven cloth as soon as possible because of irrtitation from sweat.

This is definitely the watch to get, once you replace the band. It is clearly visible under nearly any situation and surely beats a digital.

Find out how much shipping will cost. It coudl raise the price fifty per cent. Find out whether they will ship to your address. If it is overseas or a POB (or even AP) they may not. But this is the watch to go for rather than any other. If you need a calendar as well, put one on your wall or buy a newspaper. When you need to know the time, you can count on this watch to clearly provide the information you seek.
